Can I cancel my order?

Where can I purchase replacement parts for my Contours products?

Are replacement parts refundable?

No, we do not accept returns on replacement parts. Please contact customer service if you are unsure about which part you need.

Are Contours Baby products recyclable?

We have worked with our suppliers to determine which packaging materials are recyclable, and are in the process of adding recycling symbols to those items. Currently, we do not have a recycling program for our products, but you may be able to contact your local recycling facility to see if they can accept baby gear items. Otherwise, we recommend that you remove all labels and straps from your stroller or other products before discarding.

Are Contours Baby products safety certified and tested?

Yes, all Contours Baby products are tested for quality and safety. We strive to exceed all industry standards, including both JPMA and ASTM guidelines.

What car seat adapters do you offer for your strollers?

We offer a number of different adapters to fit infant car seats from the most popular brands including Baby Trend, Baby Jogger, Britax, Chicco, Cybex, Evenflo, Graco, Maxi-Cosi, Orbit Baby, Peg Perego, Nuna, Safety 1st, UppaBaby and Urbini. Can the Options Elite Sit & Boogie™ Jump Stand & Platform be used for a 3rd child?

The Options Elite Sit & Boogie™ board is designed to be used in place of the second seat on the Contours Options Elite stroller. To accommodate the third child you can attach the Contours® Boogie™ Stroller Board

Can the Curve Sit & Boogie™ Jump Stand & Platform be used for a 3rd child?

The Curve Sit & Boogie™ board is designed to be used in the place of the second seat on the Contours Curve stroller. To accommodate the third child, you can attach the Contours® Boogie Stroller Board

Can I add extra padding or another mattress pad for comfort when using my bassinet?

Only the mattress pad provided with your Contours pramette (or the appropriate replacement pad) should be used. Other mattresses, pillows, comforters or padding should not be used.

How do I remove the canopy from the frame of the pramette to wash it?

To clean your pramette canopy, we recommend spot cleaning it with a damp cloth and wipe dry. Some of our bassinets allow the canopy to be removed, while others are permanently attached; please reference the instruction manual for more information.

At what age can a child use the Contours Explore booster seat?

The Contours Explore booster seat is recommended for use by children ages 9 months and above.

What is the weight limit for a child to sit in the Contours Explore booster seat?

The Contours Explore booster seat supports a child up to 60 lb.

How do I clean the Contours Explore 2-in-1 Portable Booster Seat and Diaper Bag?

To clean the Contours Booster Seat & Diaper Bag, wipe clean with mild soap and water. For machine wash, remove base, buckle all buckles, zipper down seat back. Machine wash cold, gentle. Line Dry. Do not iron. Do not bleach.

How to install the Contours Explore Booster Seat?

Can I use the baby carrier for a newborn?

Absolutely, all of our Contours carriers can be used with a newborn starting at 8 lb, and do not require the use of an infant insert, which means you can use the carrier directly out of the box.

At what age can the baby go in a 'M' position?

Contours baby carriers can be used in the seated ‘M’ position once your baby’s legs and hips naturally fall or spread apart to the side.

At what age can I carry the baby on the back?

Generally, we recommend the back carry position for babies starting around 10+ months, but please reference your specific instructions for more information.

How long should babies sit in frog leg position?

Frog legs should be used for newborns. Babies should remain in the newborn/froggy position until their legs and hips naturally fall or spread apart to the side when they can transition to the ‘M’ seated position.

Can I wear the carrier if I am pregnant?

Yes, of course! You may find it more comfortable to wear the waistband up higher on your waist, and always follow the recommendations and guidelines provided by your doctor or medical professional.

Can I nurse in the baby carrier?

Yes, you can nurse with the carrier. Our Contours carriers don’t require an infant insert which allows direct skin to skin contact with baby. Read our blog for tips on breastfeeding in a baby carrier.

Are Contours baby carriers breathable?

Yes, our Love and Journey GO carriers offer breathable mesh fabric, in combination with beneficial skin to skin contact with no fabric or straps between you and your baby. Our Journey GO carrier also offers moisture-wicking on the interior lining. The Contours Cocoon carrier offers air vents along the front side panel.

How do I clean my baby carrier?

Make sure all buckles are fastened before washing. Place in a laundry bag and machine wash in cold water with mild detergent on the gentle cycle. Line dry. Do not iron, use bleach or machine wash frequently.

Do Contours baby carriers need a separate baby insert?

How are you different than other carriers?

Each Contours baby carrier offers unique features to suit different families’ needs. Our Love carrier has no back buckles which can be much easier for parents to put on so that they don’t have to reach behind their back. Our Love, Journey and Journey GO carriers offer a simple, one-handed seat adjustment so that you can adjust the seat size as baby grows. Additionally, our Journey and Journey GO carriers offer an extra-large, UPF 25+ removable sunshade and 3 zippered pockets. Our Cocoon carrier provides an innovative waist band that can be adjusted as baby grows taller, and also features a mix of a buckled waistband and easy-tie straps for a cozy fit.

What’s the difference between the Journey and the Love?

The Love features an innovative design that has all buckles in front for easy access. This can make it much easier to put the carrier on. The Journey and Journey GO carriers offer an extra-large sunshade, an additional zippered pocket. With the Love carrier, you can wear baby on your front in a Newborn position, a Seated Facing In position, and a Facing Out position. The Journey and Journey GO also allow you to carry your baby on your Hip and Back.

Safety tips for wearing a baby carrier?

Please reference your instruction manual for all safety tips specific to your carrier. There are guidelines provided for each carrying position and the different configurations (e.g., backpack versus crisscross straps; head support; etc.).?

Why should I buy a vibrating crib mattress for my baby?

An independent sleep study has shown that soothing vibrations can help your baby sleep better, longer and help reduce symptoms of restlessness and colic. The results of the sleep study will be published in a science journal this year.

The Contours® Vibes™ 2-Stage Soothing Vibrations is designed with patented technology that offers soothing vibrations built right into a premium crib mattress. This design has been tested out by parents with infants to help comfort their babies. We know that toddlers love it too!

I just received my crib mattress and I don’t see the instruction booklet.

If you have purchased the Contours® Vibes™ Crib Mattress at the store, the instruction book is taped to the inside of the point of purchase insert on the top of the mattress. Just remove from the insert and keep for future use. You can also view instructional video for set up and functionality here. If you purchased the crib mattress online, the instructions will be inserted inside the shipping bag.

I just received my crib mattress and I don’t see the remote.

The remote for the Contours® Vibes™ Crib Mattress is safely stored inside the mattress vibration unit. Simply unscrew the electronic unit on the side of the mattress and the remote as well as 2 remote batteries will be inside.

What are the vibration mode settings on the Contours Vibes™ Crib Mattress?

The remote allows you to change the vibration settings to one of three settings from whisper (small circle light), gentle (medium circle light) and heartbeat (heartbeat light) modes.

What are the timer settings on the Contours Vibes™ Crib Mattress?

The remote allows you to set the timer to 15, 30 or 45 minutes. The vibrations will gradually turn off after the time set runs out.

Are batteries included in the Contours Vibes™ Crib Mattress?

We do include two “CR 2032” cell batteries for the remote. The remote and the batteries are shipped packaged inside the mattress electronic battery drawer remote batteries. You will need to purchase 3 “D” cell batteries for the mattress vibrating electronic separately.

How do I install batteries into the Contours Vibes™ Crib Mattress electronic and the remote?

How do I set the vibration and timer settings on the Contours Vibes™ Crib Mattress?

In order to change the settings on the mattress vibration electronic, you must use the remote included. We have the instruction manual available on the product page as well as created a quick video tutorial here to help you learn how to use the vibration and timer settings for the Contours® Vibes™ 2-Stage Soothing Vibrations  Crib Mattress.

Can I shut off the LED lights on the mattress vibration electronic?

The soft glow LED lights indicate the mattress is on. The LEDs will stay on during the vibration mode time set. Crib mattress pads and sheets will cover the electronic easily and mute the light.

I lost my remote. Can I purchase a remote for my Contours Vibes™ 2-Stage Soothing Vibrations Crib Mattress?

Yes, we have additional Contours® Vibes™ remotes available for purchase. Once received, you can pair your new remote to your mattress. Click here to view instructions or here to view our video tutorial on how to pair the new remote to channel 1, 2 or 3.

What distance does the remote work with my crib mattress?

The remote has been tested to over a 80-foot distance unobstructed to work with the unit. However, since homes vary so much with various layouts and obstructions, those obstructions can affect the distance that the signal will reach uninterrupted. We recommend testing it out from various locations in your home to change the vibration mode. This can help you start a vibration mode if you hear your baby stirring before nap time is over. As always, check on your baby as often as you are comfortable.

What is the warranty on the Contours Vibes™ Crib Mattress?

We offer a limited lifetime warranty on the mattress workmanship and materials. The electronic component and remote features a one year warranty. Register your product here to have it extended to two years. Please enter the date of manufacture on the crib mattress law tags in order for your warranty to take effect.

How do I replace the vibrating electronic unit in the Contours Vibes™ Crib Mattress?

How do I know which side is for the infant and which side is for the toddler? When should I flip my baby’s mattress from the infant side to the toddler side?

The Contours® Vibes™ 2-Stage Soothing Vibrations Crib Mattress is a 2-stage dual firmness design with a firmer side for infants and a cozier side for toddlers. A small silk tag is sewn into the infant side that identifies it as the infant side. Many families use this side for the first 1.5 to 2 years, and then flip the mattress to the toddler side at that stage. We have ensured that both sides of this design are safe to use with infants and toddlers.

Will the Contours Vibes™ fit my baby’s crib and toddler bed?

The Contours® Vibes™ Crib Mattress is sized to fit all standard full-size cribs and toddler beds so it is approximately 52” long by 27.5” wide for a snug fit

Are Contours crib mattresses waterproof?

Yes, the Contours® Vibes™ Crib Mattress is waterproof. The cotton cover is enhanced with a waterproof membrane to help keep liquids from seeping inside so you can help keep nasty odors, mold and mildew from growing inside.

How do I clean my Contours Vibes™ Cover?

We always recommend using a waterproof crib mattress pad to help keep your baby’s mattress fresh. If the crib mattress is dirty or stained, first wipe away any debris on the surface. Use gentle soap and water with a non-abrasive cloth spot clean the area. Wipe clean with fresh water and allow to air dry before putting any bedding back onto the mattress.

How do I clean my Contours Vibes™ electronic?

Simply wipe down the outside housing of the electronic and the remote with a damp cloth, a baby wipe or a gentle cleaning towelette. Do not insert any part of the electronics or the remote into water or spray with a cleanser.

Are there any harmful chemicals in the Contours Vibes Crib Mattress?

Is the Contours Vibes™ Crib Mattress GREENGUARD® GOLD Certified?

Yes. Contours® Crib Mattresses are independently tested and certified to pass the GREENGUARD® GOLD Standard for a healthier sleeping environment for your baby.

The Gold standard is a premium test used for baby and children’s products, so it is stricter than any other GREENGUARD® standard. The entire crib mattress is tested for chemical emissions including VOCs and harsh chemicals. We want to help ensure our product offers cleaner air for babies to breathe and helps keep a healthier indoor environment.

Is it safe to put my baby on a battery-powered mattress?

Yes. The Contours® Vibes™ is completely safe. The battery compartment is completely enclosed and encased with extra design features standard for any children’s product that contains batteries. It is also registered with the Worldwide Environmental Regulatory Compliance Solutions division of Underwriters Laboratories to help ensure compliance and safety for battery-powered devices.

How do I know what size crib mattress I need for my crib?

All of our cribs accommodate US standard size crib mattresses. The inside of your crib should measure between 27 3/8″ — 28 5/8″ wide and 51 ¾” — 53″ long. Crib mattresses are designed to be slightly smaller to allow them to fit within these tolerances.

Does your furniture come with warranty?

All nursery furniture comes with a one year limited warranty from the date of purchase. You can get an additional 1 year warranty when you register the product. 

Are toddler rails/bed rails included with the crib? If not, where can I purchase them?

Neither toddler rails nor bed rails are included with the crib. You may purchase each item separately from the retailer in which you purchase your crib or visit the nursery section on our website to see which retailers sell them. We recommend purchasing the toddler rail/bed rails at the time you purchase the crib to ensure availability.

Does your furniture use any glue?

Not all of our pieces use wood glue; however, when we do use glue it is non-toxic and water based.

What is the best way to care for and maintain my nursery furniture?

To clean your nursery furniture, wipe with a damp cloth and immediately dry the surface. Do not use any chemical cleaners or polishes. Such products can leave a residue on the finish and come in contact with your child. Do not use any toxic stripping methods to remove the old finish. After completing assembly, check that all bolts and screws are secure and tight. Hardware can become loose over time, so it is your responsibility to periodically check the tightness of all fasteners.

Do your products meet US safety standards?

Our furniture meets and/or exceeds all US standards. Please visit our product safety and testing page to learn more.

What kinds of stains and paints do you use for your nursery furniture?

Our products are formaldehyde and lead safe. Because wood naturally contains formaldehyde, no wood product can be labeled formaldehyde free. Our products meet both federal agency (EPA) and state requirements for formaldehyde emissions in wood products.

What kind of wood is used to manufacture your products?

Our cribs, dressers and changers are made of various sustainable and renewable wood resources like New Zealand Pine and Poplar. Some of the panels of our products also use CARB II compliant MDF and 100% wood veneers. 

Can I use the Cozy™ in a tub?

No. The Cozy™ is only for use in a sink. 

What if my sink doesn’t match the recommended dimensions?

Use your best judgement for keeping baby safe and supported in your chosen sink (and always stay in arm’s reach of your baby). The Cozy™ was designed to be used in a double basin kitchen sink (13.5-14 inches wide, by 15-16 inches long, by 7-8 inches deep). If you bathe your baby in a sink outside of these dimensions and find the sink does not provide sufficient support while your baby is in the Cozy™, please discontinue use of the Cozy™ in that sink. 

Is the Cozy™ easy to travel with?

Yes! The Cozy™ folds up nice and compact for traveling.  

How should I store the Cozy™ when I’m not using it?

Make sure the Cozy™ is dry before storing away and then store in a space free of moisture.  

How should I dry the Cozy™?

For best drying results, hang dry the bather (using the hang dry loop on the back) after each use. You can also machine wash and dry the bather, as needed.

Are there any requirements for machine washing and drying?

Yes. Machine wash the Cozy™ on a cold/gentle cycle. Tumble dry. Do not iron. Only non-chlorine bleach when needed. 

Do I need to remove the internal seat wedge for washing and drying the Cozy™?

No! You may notice a zipper at the base of the bather, but please note this is not meant for consumer assembly/disassembly. Please do not open the zipper, or tamper with any components within the bather. No disassembly is needed to wash or dry the Cozy™.  

At what age can I start potty training for my child?

It varies with every child. Most children show signs of being ready to potty train around 18-24 months. Some children aren’t ready til 3 years old. Good luck on potty training!

At what age/ stage can the child start using the stool?

Your child can start using the step stool once they are steady on their feet, this usually happens around 12 months old. The step stool holds up to 200 lbs. and will be able to assist your little one for years!

At what stage during the potty training can the toilet trainer be removed to attach to the toilet seat?

Both the potty chair and the toilet trainer can also be used when your child is showing signs of being ready to potty train around 18-24 months. Look for signs that your child feels confident on the potty chair and is open to using the real toilet.

How should I clean the potty?

The entire potty is easy to wipe clean with soap and water! For the waste cup, simply remove it by lifting upward on the front lip and empty contents into an adult toilet.

How do I remove the splash guard?

Simply slide the splash guard towards the back of the seat. The splash guard transitions easily from waste cup to toilet trainer. The splash guard can also fold outwards for less protection.

How can I separate the potty trainer from the step stool?

Start by removing the waste tub from potty chair. Then pull up on the trainer to separate with the back handle.

What is the maximum weight for the potty chair?

The potty chair can hold up to 40 lbs.

What is the maximum weight for the step stool?

The step stool was designed to hold up to 200 lbs. to grow with your family.

Do Contours Baby strollers come with a car seat?

At this time, Contours Baby strollers do not come with a car seat, but we do offer strollers that can accommodate several infant car seats, sometimes over 30 different models. Some of our strollers require an infant car seat adapter, while others do not require an adapter and can be used with an approved infant car seat attaching directly to the stroller. What adapter do I need for my car seat?

We have a number of different infant car seat adapters so you can customize your Contours stroller to fit your specific infant car seat. All of our infant car seat adapters can be found in our stroller accessory section on the website to see which car seats are compatible with a specific car seat adapter.

At what age can I transition the baby from a bassinet/car seat to a stroller seat?

Transitioning your baby from a bassinet or car seat to a stroller seat depends on your child, and whether or not they have full head and neck control. Oftentimes, this can be around 6 to 8 months, but varies on your child’s development.

Is there a weight limit for Contours double strollers?

Our double strollers can accommodate a child up to 40 lb in each seat, for a total of 80 lb in two seats. The storage basket can accommodate an additional 10 lb, and for select models like the Contours Element, an additional 1 lb in parent organizer and 20 lb in the side tote.

Can I use the Contours double stroller as a single stroller by taking off one seat?

Yes, some of our double strollers can be used with either one or two stroller seats. Please reference the instruction manual for your specific stroller for more information on the different seating configurations.

Can I purchase accessories for the Contours Strollers ?

What's the difference between the Options Elite V2 and the Curve V2 Double Stroller?

The Contours Curve V2 offers superior maneuverability and premium details. The six-wheel design is unique and enables the feel of pushing a single stroller that can be easily maneuvered with just one hand. The curb-assist feature is unique to the Contours Curve V2 stroller and allows parents to maneuver over curbs more easily than a traditional double tandem stroller. Additionally, the Curve V2 offers premium details like height-adjustable handle and an improved easy-lift seat design to make it even easier to reverse the seats while on the go.

Do I have to take the seats off when I fold the Options Elite V2 or the Curve V2 Double Stroller?

Both the Options Elite V2 and the Curve V2 Double Stroller can fold with the seats attached when the seats are facing forward and are in the upright position.

Can I run or jog with Contours strollers?

Our Contours strollers are not designed to be used as exercise strollers, and are not intended to be used for jogging, running, in-line skating or other athletic activities.

Are Contours double strollers compatible with theme-park sizing regulations?

Yes, our double strollers are compatible with theme park size regulations when the seats are adjusted to face inwards. Please see the product page for more information.

How do I clean my stroller?

Clean all metal parts with a damp cloth and wipe dry. You may also clean woven fabric or vinyl parts with mild soap and water solution.

What does my warranty cover?

The warranty generally covers any defects in materials or workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase, and when you register your product it will be covered for two years from the date of purchase. For complete details, please visit our Warranty information page.

How long is my warranty?

We are happy to offer an extended warranty of one additional year, for a total of two years, on all Contours Baby products if you register your product with us. To receive the extra year of warranty, simply register your product here, via mail, or contact our customer service department.

What is your returns policy?

We accept unused and unassembled items for return within 30 days of purchase. We do not accept returns from 3rd party vendors or our retail partners. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
