As of June 1, 2020 Contours Baby is happy to offer an EXTENDED WARRANTY of one additional year (for a total of a two year warranty) on all Contours Baby products. To receive the extra year of warranty, customers must register their products. Customer can register their products online, via mail or by contacting our customer service department.

Contours Baby warrants this product to be free of defects in materials and workmanship, as follows: For a period of ONE YEAR* from the date of purchase, Contours Baby will repair or replace, at its option, the defective product. This warranty applies only to the original owner; it is not transferable to second-hand purchasers.

*An extended warranty of one year (for a total of two year warranty) is offered to those who register their products with us. 

What will Contours Baby do?

Contours Baby determines warranty terms and conditions have been met, it will provide replacement parts, repair kits and/or self-repair instructions to address your warranty claim. Contours Baby reserves the right to repair your product with a new replacement part and only in rare cases may a complete product be replaced. Repair or replacement as provided under this warranty is the exclusive remedy of the consumer. Contours Baby shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages for breach of any express or implied warranty on this product, except to the extent this exclusion is prohibited by applicable law. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose on this product is limited in duration to the duration of this warranty.

What does the baby gear warranty cover?

Defects in materials or workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase, and when you register your product, defects in materials or workmanship will be covered for two years from the date of purchase.

What is not covered by the baby gear warranty?

Issues caused by improper assembly, misuse or poor maintenance. Please refer to your products’ instruction booklet for proper product use and maintenance.

Damage caused by repairs or modifications carried out by a third party.

Damage to your product caused by corrosion, mold, rust, sun intensity, sweat, detergents, sunscreens, damp storage or frequent washing.

A product purchased from an unauthorized retailer.

A product purchased used or second-hand.

A product damaged as the result of an accident, or airline or freight handling.

Please note that while the warranty may not be honored, in some cases, replacement parts can be purchased to repair your product.

How do I contact Kolcraft or Contours for warranty service?

To obtain warranty service, please complete our contact form or email us at [email protected]. If the product is returned to Contours’ customer service team for repair or replacement, it must be shipped prepaid and adequately insured.

International Customers

The above warranty specifications apply only to products purchased in the USA and Canada. For international customers, your product’s warranty is valid only in the country of purchase and is subject to the warranty conditions set forth by the Contours distributor for that country – conditions may vary. Contours and its authorized distributors may not ship replacement or repair parts out of the country of purchase, however, international customers who purchase their product in another country can purchase replacement parts through Contours customer service team but will be responsible for the shipping costs and any taxes/duties associated with their country of residence.
